Rapper Rah Digga let the chopper fly on Twitter when it came to expressing her opinion about why some black women are insecure, and she blamed it on black men.
It seems as though Digga was responding to stories about Tyrese’s new wife and how he basically said black women need to put down the make-up and weaves, in order to find a “real” black man like him. He caught a lot of flack, because most people didn’t even realize his new wife is black, until he actually said she was half this and half that.
Pop culture isn't the reason why Black women are insecure about their natural selves…its BLACK MEN. Just let that marinate for a sec…

The reason more than 40% Black women are single is because we are the LAST species to date outside of our race. This is facts FYI

Most Black women will put up w/ multiple baby mamas, incarceration, abuse, death & suspect partners before even entertaining another race.

@CactusHowl we used to wear afros with pride. We didn't care what the world thought. We cared about what our men thought.

If Tyrese wanted to stress the importance of natural beauty he could have done so w/o shaming what some feel they need to do to be beautiful

I actually agreed w/ alot of it…But Black women didn't wake up and decide to get botox, weave, fake tits & asses outta nowhere…. https://t.co/Cxx40s23fB

Now many people may not agree with Rah Digga, but you can’t say that some of what she tweeted isn’t true.
